thank u dear bilqis. Your obeservations are heartfelt and true.

it was a real treat to watch Hari, my son, my student. my friend, my baby-sitter(well he helped us raise the 2 kids too),my inspiration!! he's 18 ,exactly the same age when i did mine 20 years ago....there is a difference,he handled many more challenges and still rose to the occassion, with a calm. He was a lovely surprise. ket was right. he was astounding! his hardwork, patience and faith in everything and everyone..and his love for the arts, was what we witnessed through his dancing. He prayed and paid attention to all the details...his natural state is such.and the advantage is because he studies music and rhythm and drama, therefore his approach is whollistic. His time spent with us, just like our 2 other kids and most kids at TFA, is around us and the arts 24/7 so, need i saymore and I'm indebted to Swamiji and am proud of the choices I made at 21. Hari is true testimony of all the challenges I had as an upcoming dancer and when i left the scene to be married to a chinese, so young. Well it was the right thing then. I am still dancing and so with my family to share in with my passion and joys. We are home-grown talents. so its 1malaysia for us and the arts represents being connected to our past and culture, crossing boundaries. we didnt plan it but its beginning to take shape. Ket's experience with channeling hari's mind and personality through writing, text, drama and literature is also instrumental and evident in his expression.

so in short if we as parents can engage our kids in our likes and passion, and us in theirs... then they grow with a confidence that can be surprisingly beautiful and uplifting and we can live a happy and healthy life...
Hari is also a voilinist and excelled in his SPM last year with 10A's and bagged the Sporstman of the Year in school, esp in athletics. And it is possible to juggle as many as the kid can handle...and with only love and encouragement...no tuition and pampering, but time well-spent with parents, family and good friends. its being true to a life of service.
we pray that we remain united in our vision as one family, one community and one people.
After all that happened, Hari still remains calm and unaffected and continues his chores as if nothing happened with a sseet smile. and that is great!

Thank you once again, Bilqis, Rathi and to all who came that night.
It was a wonderful feeling...and will live with us.
